WELCOME TO THE 2009 PARADE of HOMES®

A Home on the ParadeIt is a pleasure to welcome you to the 58th Annual Parade of Homes®. Each year, this event has grown in popularity and has become Richmond’s premier new homes showcase. This year is no exception with 71 homes available for you to tour. You’ll see just about every type of home imaginable in 10 localities throughout the Greater Richmond and Tri-City areas at prices ranging from low $170,000 to over $1.5 million. This year, HBAR.org has a new feature that allows you to search by criteria, as well as floor plans and a map to make your new home search even easier. In addition, HBAR will have experts on-site at a designated Parade community to talk with you about designing the gourmet kitchen of your dreams, saving energy beautifully and creating today’s utilitarian family room.

This event is organized and sponsored by the Home Building Association of Richmond (HBAR), a non-profit t trade association founded in 1946. HBAR members include builders, developers, remodelers, Realtors®, suppliers, subcontractors, and many more that relate to the residential construction industry. Our membership is committed to fighting for safe and affordable housing in our communities, expanding business and technical skills, and educating Consumers about the newest industry products, techniques and services through events like the Parade of Homes. When you decide to buy or build a new home, or remodel your existing home, be sure to ask if the contractor is a member of the Home Building Association of Richmond.

Other information: Due to early deadlines, some Parade of Homes entries may not be completed or may have been sold before the event begins October 3. Some entries are model homes that are not for sale, but represent what the builder can provide in similar price ranges and with other amenities. Prices listed for furnished models include architectural upgrades and lot, but not furniture, accessories or window treatments. Note that the square footage may be an estimate, and the price for the particular entry is guaranteed until November 30, 2009. For information about specific homes, please contact the builder or agent listed with each Parade entry.
